This is the final one of the resolutions I think of when I think of resolutions everyone makes. I think this one may well be the most important though.
I laugh a lot when people say they don't have time for things.
I mean, shouldn't the real answer be that you just don't care about it enough to MAKE time for it? That's the truth, I do believe. At least for me. So, I wanted to make a top 5 list of things that are MOST important uses of my time that I'd like to really focus on:
1. Helping in the classrooms
2. Spending one on one time with my kids
3. Talking to Drew with no distractions
4. Scripture study/prayer time
5. Blog writing
Of course, that's in addition to the regularly scheduled stuff -- carpool, going to church, going to work and let's not forget CLEANING. :)
So, what are some things you'd realy like to make room for on your plate? And what are some things you could let go?
We all get the same amount of time, and it sure seems that some people get a TON done, and some people... well, they don't. :) I'm sure that how we spend our time will be one of the things God uses to judge us on later. I hope to use most of mine wisely, and maybe a little time watching reality TV. I mean, we need joy, right? :)
Happy New Year Everyone, I hope this series has sparked an idea or two in you. :)

That's one of my pet peeves- when someone sees something that I or someone else has done and says, "Wow, you have too much free time". Nope, I just spend my time differently. And that's ok.
I do spend too much time on the computer though, so I'm going now. :)
(I've liked this series of posts, but the way!)
I agree with Maryanne, this series has helped me to think.
I do think it is interesting how people spend their time. It would be fun to be a fly on the wall and just see how someone else really spends their day, when no one else is watching.
I know there are portions of my day I could do more with. Somehow I always worry that I'm not spending enough time with my kids, so I let some of the cleaning go, and then my whole family is cranky because we're hanging out in a messy house. Order and Peace go hand in hand around here. I have to remind myself that we'll all be happier if I have my ducks in their rows before I try to do it for everyone else. Somehow when I'm on task, and my work is done (or getting there) everything else runs more smoothly.
Including having more time for all the rest of that stuff.
